Download.com Trusted?
I’ve used this site alot as a kid, and I can download anything within that site with confident because they have checked spyware and virus in all file, as they say all the time. But recently these years, I have read that people were getting virus from download.com (reviewers). There was one download about keylogging, and then there is this download that I have found recently. Well then, can download.com be trusted? Well, entirely most of it can be, but that’s why we have reviews, thank god.

Be careful of SCREAMERS!!! How to defend yourself from it.
In the Internet we have a-holes(like opinions), enemy maker, and rickrollers. So, we have this thing called “Screamer”, which will scare you out of surprise. The scary limitation can go as far to burn a scary image in your head.
If you click here (don’t let the video playing at 1:39), you’ll be given videos on the side of a picture for you to find Waldo. If you want to find Waldo, pause the video, because if you let the video in play, somewhere in any time frame in the video, it will show a scary image as your eyes are fixed to find Waldo. And If your volume was turned on, the video will emit a loud scary/screaming noise with the surprising visual that stood in front of your eye. So, chances are the video will have a screamer.
The screamer will take any place where your guard is let down. It could be at the end of the movie, the middle, or any time frame where most people are likely to be surprised.
They could put on a song that most likely peoples would like, and you would happen to be one of them. But, the song’s volume is low, so you decides to turn up your volume. In seconds later, the ear-rape/scream will scare you out of your awareness, and since your volume is high, the screamer enhanced.
There may be no sound in the situation, so that you’ll expect that there is no audio in the video, and that’s where they can get you. They may even ask you to turn up the volume, and that’s where they get you. Also, it doesn’t have to be a screamer(especially somewhere in public).
Luckily in YouTube, we have comments, so check them out if one of them say it’s a screamer/surprise/scary. But, sometimes they won’t say it and play along for your surprise. Or, before you visited the video, it was a screamer free content, and people comment on it like a normal video(most screamer have a lot of comments). But then, the maker of the video has decided to update it with a screamer, with the comments praising the video before. So don’t rely too much on the comments.
Here is an orders steps to take when
- Look out for the title name(they can allure you, or lower your expectation)
- Turn down your speaker, or mute it.
- Get your guard on, and enter
- Scroll down quickly, press the Page down or End button(End will take you all the way down to the page)(in order for the button to work, your last mouse click must not be on the video, so click on the background). You can also shield your eyes before. You can try to pause the video
- Read the comments
- Put your speaker volume on a low level, replay the video, and expect a screamer.
- Slowly scroll up or lift your hand from the screen. Seeing the image half way should be enough.
You should be safe and unharmed. If you have the Fire Fox add on “Flash Block” you can take your time on number 4, that if it’s turned on and/or you haven’t watched the video previously.
There are many possibility to scare the living crap out of you. They can create new ways to scare you, which can bring my steps to a ruin. So, be aware of this by shielding the computer screen, scroll all the way down(Page Down, or End)(But, some images can be on a fixed position on your window), minimize/close the window, or close your eye.
The Internet can be a scary or an unusual place.

This may sounds like I’m tricking you into staying in my Weblog, but I’m not. You know those flashing text blogs that appears on the blogger website? Well recently, If you click on one them, you might get attack with malware, spam, or browser exploit. So be careful, with those web-logs especially ones the has merchandise, or any sexual arousing words. SEX ALWAYS SELLS, but you know that. In fact Now it’s time to shed some light for you internet beginners, or anyone.
This is a PC Internet browser that I HIGHLY recommend for anyone. Internet Explorer is really awful, and it’s not safe. I don’t know what to say,Fire Fox is great and should be given a try to everyone!
A great add-on after you install Firefox. What it does it tells you which site is bad or good, with colors. If you search “free screensaver” on google, in seconds you can find which website you should stay away. Clicking on the icon next to the link will give you details in the siteadvisor’s webpage. You can comment on it and rate the site’s safety.
This stuff is great! This add-on will block picture-ads and you can choose to block ads by what URL it came from. After you install this feature, you can subscribe (I chose the Easy list) some list to block ads. If you don’t, then it will block some ads and you have to manaully block ads. It’s ok, but you’re better off suscribing. Either way, doing both is the best way to block ads.
Adblock doesn’t block these .swf ads (you can try by blocking the .swf ads url) and that today nearly all ads were in .swf a.k.a Flash. This add on will block any .swf it encounters, thus saving your computer some RAM/performance. Like youtube, it uses flash to view videos. So how do you view flash? by clicking the icon on the middle, which will allow you to see the .swf file on your browser. If it’s presence gets annoying, you can right click and remove the .swf file. You should read the flash block reviews review to hear what people say about. I can’t live without this Ao(add-ons) and I recommend this ao.

If you don’t have an anti virus program then this is for you. Years ago, this used to be free and it was great. But now they are selling it, which sucks, but they will give you a free trial, and that’s good. I don’t know how long it last, I’ve been using it for a month and it expires at 7/1/2009 so it’s a long trial. You can read the reviews at download.com
Like antivirus, but this one deals with spam in your computer.
If you install these software they may slow down your computer. It’s best if you closed them by dragging you arrow to the lower right of the screen, right click the icon you don’t want running, and click exit. For the antivirus, right click your desktop bar, and click task manager, or press ctrl + Shitf + Esc buttons at the same time. go to process, and find a process that starts with “av”
and click the end process button. Now this will free up your performance, you can end any process you won’t need, but there are process that the computer require, so be careful. If your computer is doomed, then you might as well restart the whole computer to it’s factory image.
Well, now you’re defense is up. This is the internet, there a good people and there are bad people.
